Amur Leopards are primarily solitary with the exceptions of mating season and mothers with their offspring. They can run at speeds up to 35 miles per hours (56km/h) and climb up trees in order to rest or protect their kills from other predators. Amur Leopards have tiny hooks on their tongues called denticles on their tongues which allow them to lick the bones of its prey clean in order to get as much meat as possible.
